What Have We Been Up To?!

Today was the first snow for this winter. It is already melted but it was fun while it lasted. I believe that it is suppose to snow again tonight, but it was fun to wake up and see little white snow flakes falling all around. I hung a wreath on our door and gave it a harvest look... I'm not too big on decorating for halloween... I just don't feel that it is good Feng Shui to have skeletons, RIP tombstones, and spider webs around the house. So I will have to find alternative ways to decorate. Pumpkins are good!! And the Candy is good too... it brings lots of kids around!

Knowing that the snow is just around the corner. We have been trying to get out and enjoy the good weather while it is still here. I really shouldn't get too excited about winter... it always stays way too long.
<---- this picture was taken while hiking around Kamas. There were all kinds of little animals gathering food and getting ready for hybernation. We followed deer tracks around and enjoyed the veiw of the mountains. Chad and I talked about what it must have been like for the early ancestors who simply lived off the land. I think they probably had great "root chakras". They worked hard and probably took great pride in being able to provide for themselves. How would that be to be nearly immune to cold like the indians? We talked a lot about the last days and how we may need to learn all over again how to simply live from mother earth.

A couple days before this hike we took Zack (One of the boys I nanny) to Bridal Veil Falls. He had never been there before and so we decided to go on a little adventure. We all had a lot of fun and was a change from my normal routine as their nanny. :)

Chad Bought Zack Doughnuts... he was so happy.
That bandaid on his head isn't from me!... he ran into an eletric fence. :(

He's doing a rap or something.

The Boys!

"Aaahh... I'm spiderman!"
