Early V-day

Let me start by saying that I love Valentine's Day! Athough, I haven't always. I've learned to not have expectations for the day...well not big ones anyway. It's like when you were little and you thought that the whole world knew it was your birthday and that it was going to be a day larger than life... only be to disappointed.
The trick to enjoying holidays is to not have high expectations, to be in the moment and enjoy whatever is happening. Also, I've learned that no one knows how I want the day to go as well as myself. So I will plan a little bit of the day according to how I want it to go. One year I cooked lunch and had friends over on my birthday. That was really fun!
So last night I was whinning over having to work saturday night again. As much as I want to go out and have fun and play saturday night, I know that we need the financial help. So this morning I changed my grumpy attitude and decided that no matter what day we choose to celebrate Valentine's
day, It will be great. After all Valentine's day lands on sunday this year which
means there isn't much going out to be done on that day anyway... well for us mormons that is.
Whatever happens I know that I'll enjoy it!
So I have already recieved my V-day gift from Chad! After renting this movie five times from red-box and still being INLOVE with it. Chad decided to just buy it for me! (it will probably end up being cheaper to just purchase it than continuing to rent it every chance I get.)

Wishing you a happy, yummy, romantic, candle-lit Valentine's Day!
